Criminal Justice Movie Night Begins

Dr. Harold J. Geistman is offering Criminal Justice majors and other interested students the chance to consider how the criminal justice system is portrayed in the popular culture by hosting Criminal Justice Movie Night each Tuesday night during the quarter.

The first film will be The Thin Blue Line, a documentary by Errol Morris that reenacts a murder crime scene in Dallas. This movie will be screened in Hill 200 on Tuesday September 14.

The second film is the classic 12 Angry Men, which looks at a contentious jury deliberation in a criminal trial. Starring Henry Fonda, the film has become a classic for those interested in the way that juries reach their verdicts.
