Professor Crawford Opines on Paying College Athletes

Dr. Crawford was recently asked to give his feelings about whether college athletes should be paid.  There is a national movement to pay athletes in revenue earning sports such as football, and the Northwestern University football team is considering forming a union for their players.

Crawford told Alexandra Rice of NerdScholar that he does not think that would be a good idea.  To read Crawford's resoning and the contributions of other scholars, visit the NerdScholar site.

The story received considerable buzz and was picked up by the Huffington Post.
